About Us

About Truth Ministries Church

Truth Ministries Church was founded by Pastors Damon & Shemeka Moody in October 2020 in the middle of covid. 

God spoke the vision in the previous year and later confirmed by our overseer, Prophetess Sherita Copeland in that same year. She prophesied to us on a Sunday morning in October 2019. 

She stated that by this time next year we will not be there, God was going to open up the doors for us to have our very own church.. So from that point on she began to train us very strategically, to walk in the rolls of Spirit led strong Pastors.

We were both licensed as Pastors in September of 2020.

We started out as a very small ministry. God told us to trust Him and not worry about the numbers , but to feed the sheep that He was going to send to be amongst us. 

And every since the 1st day of opening up our ministry, that's what our aim has been, to trust God, to be faithful in ministry and to feed the people the true unadulterated word of God so that they might be saved and set free.

As we pour into our congregation with patience and love, we have witnessed the undeniable evidence of God’s Word manifesting in the lives of those in and outside of our ministry.

About Pastor Damon Moody

Pastor Damon Moody

Pastor Damon Moody was born in Newark, New Jersey, and later raised in Hogansville, Georgia, by his loving grandparents. It was there, at Springfield Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Joseph A. McGuire, that he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at a young age.

With a deep love for God’s people and a passion for the Gospel, Pastor Damon is committed to the call of evangelism—reaching souls, making disciples, and spreading the message of Jesus Christ. He takes seriously the Great Commission: to go out and be a fisherman of men, baptizing and teaching in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

Pastor Damon is a living testimony of God’s transformative power. He boldly proclaims that if God could change, deliver, and set him free from the desires of the world, He can do the same for you. As a true believer in Christ, Pastor Damon ministers with authenticity, compassion, and a desire to see lives changed for the glory of God.

About Pastor Shemeka Moody

Pastor Shemeka Moody

Pastor Shemeka Moody was born and raised in Lanett, Alabama. At the age of 22, she accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior under the leadership of Pastors Harold and Betty Ferguson of The Good Shepherd Worship Center in Lanett.

For over 20 years, Pastor Shemeka has faithfully ministered the Gospel, driven by a deep passion to see lives transformed through the power of God’s Word. What she cherishes most about ministry is witnessing firsthand the life-changing impact that comes when people wholeheartedly desire and pursue God.

Though ministry comes with its challenges, Pastor Shemeka remains steadfast in her calling—committed to teaching God’s Word with clarity, truth, and unwavering faith so that others may grow in Christ and walk boldly in their God-given purpose.
